Classes- Clinics and Volunteer Work

Certified Equine Dental Technician, Ernest Kilby, has offered his services several times over the past year to the SPCA and other non-profit organizations.  He volunteers his time to educate horse owners and horse lovers about the proper dental care needed by horses. 

Ernest performed free dental work for the local SPCA when they seized 33 neglected horses from a local farm.  Not only did he donate his time but he also offered to adopt one of the horses and make her his own.  “Jazmyn”, an Egyptian Arabian became part of the Kilby farm in the spring of 2006.  Ernest also spends time teaching for local riding clubs and 4H groups. 

Ernest has had several articles written about him by the local newspaper company.  He also has been spotlighted by the local television station while tending his booth at the Harrisburg Pennsylvania Equine Show.  Not many people know that a horse dentist even exists let alone that there is one in their own neighborhood.  This website will be updated frequently with the local articles and television spotlights.
